TARA FORD

What you see on the paper is pure stream of consciousness. The creative process is completely automatic. The resulting drawings and paintings are an extreme form of doodling, reflecting mood, thought and emotion of the artist.

The artist has kept visual diaries over the years. Pages from these diaries, large-scale acrylic paintings and mixed media collages made up the show. An audio piece was designed to accompany the visuals featuring crowd noise of people at a gallery mixed with sounds from the artist’s memory.
The show was presented in London at the Nottinghill venue of Australian art consultant Georgie Hooper.
